MORDEN -

The Morden Hawks AA Pee Wee team won bronze at the provincials in Dauphin.
They started the weekend off strong defeating their division rival Portage Terriers 5-0 but then stumbled against a very strong Dauphin team to end the round robin portion of the tournament with a 1-1 record.
That placed them in 6th place overall and matched them up against a very tough team from MacDonald who had not lost a regular season game all year and were one of the favourites to win the Provincial title.
After trailing 2-1 after 2 periods the Morden team made an amazing comeback and defeated them 4-3 to move onto the Semi-finals.
There, they would fall to defeat to the Flin Flon Bombers and were relegated to the Bronze Medal game.
Taking on Steinbach
Morden would play against Steinbach for the right to bring home the Bronze Medal.
Again they would battle hard and ended up winning 3-2 to become the Bronze Medal Champions.
